Golden Road LoL is a free browser game for League esports fans who like roster debates, historical what-ifs and impossible tournament runs.
The game keeps the rules simple: the wheels choose a region, team and year; you choose one player from that roster. After five picks, the lineup is simulated through the season. Your goal is to win every stage and complete the Golden Road.
Each pick starts with a random team-season. If the roll lands on 2019 G2, for example, the available choices are that roster's players. You can only fill an open role, and a player can only be used once per run.
Rerolls are limited because the game is meant to reward judgment. Region, Team and Year rerolls each solve a different problem, and using one too early can make the final two roles harder.
Every player-season has a hidden rating from 1 to 99. The game averages your five players to create a Team Rating, then compares that roster against simulated fields for regional and international events. Better ratings improve your odds, but tournament noise means the strongest roster can still miss the perfect run.
| Stage | Field | What matters |
|---|---|---|
| Split 1 | Regional | Top 2 qualifies for First Stand. |
| First Stand | International | Win to keep the Golden Road alive. |
| Split 2 | Regional | Top 2 qualifies for MSI. |
| MSI | International | A tougher field than a regional split. |
| Split 3 | Regional | Top 4 qualifies for Worlds. |
| Worlds | International | The largest and hardest field in the simulation. |
The roster list focuses on notable championship, playoff and international teams from League esports history. Ratings are subjective estimates for gameplay only, not official statistics or claims about players.
